Nicholas Basta is a graduate of California College of the Arts in Oakland; he holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Community Arts and Media Arts. His creative career began as a youth growing up in rural Sonoma County. During Basta’s first year of high school he started organizing bi-annual youth-focused music and art events to showcase the talent and culture of the young people in a small town where there was very little else being offered.
