Beyond the Odds is a multimedia arts project designed to illuminate the perspectives and personal stories of young people living with HIV/AIDS.
Our Mission:
- Illuminate the impact of HIV/AIDS on low-income and minority young adults (15-24), through the use of the web.
- Demystify and Increase HIV awareness and education through producing timely and relevant multi-platform coverage about HIV/AIDS.
- Promote dialog and community through the perspectives/lens of young adults (15-24) living with HIV.
- Explore the intersections between the HIV/AIDS problem and racial and economic marginalization in communities of color, through the use of the web.
